How the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Alumni Association came about:

After a conversation between a few people questioning how to keep alumni updated the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Alumni Association was formed in 1997 with the following Board of Directors -

• Tana Oberwetter Belgarde – Class of 1970
• Helen Wicks Dawes – Class of 1944
• Joanne Mullins Lienemann – Class of 1947
• Lynn Reich Loynachan – Class of 1965
• Kris Peterson Manning – Class of 1969
• Becky Peters McChurch – Class of 1972
• Eleanor Button Myers – Class of 1943
• Jim Peters – Class of 1971
• Kay Snyder Struble – Class of 1958
• Barb Hackney Wicks – Class of 1972
• Dick Wicks – Class of 1972

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Alumni Association Statement of Purpose:

• To keep alumni informed
• To aid in the preservation of school district archives
• To advocate special projects
• To support and promote alumni events
• To promote a sense of community
