The 2023 Annual ADM Alumni Association All Alumni Reunion will be held THURSDAY, August 10, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the ADM School Commons – 804 Nile Kinnick Drive South – Adel, IA.
Dinner will be available from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and served by the ADM After Prom Committee as a fund raiser.
The ADM Athletic Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will be held THURSDAY, August 10, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. during the ADM All Alumni Reunion.

Brett Glenn – Adel-DeSoto Class of 1985
Jared Grove – ADM Class of 2012

Nominations are accepted throughout the year & can be submitted with NOVEMBER 1, 2022 as the cut off for submitting for the 2023 class. Refer to the Hall of Fame page for instructions on making nominations & forms needed.
Also on Friday, August 11, 2023 the ADM Alumni Association will host the 21th Annual ADM Alumni Golf Tournament.
If you are attending a class reunion over Sweetcorn weekend please register early for the golf tournament as it fills up quickly.
Class Reunions Scheduled for 2023:
The following classes have contacted us regarding their 2023 reunion plans:
Class of 1953 – Will gather at the All Alumni Reunion in the 8-9 Commons on Thursday, August 10th to celebrate their 70th year anniversary! Further plans will be made at that time. Contact Lyle Roberts with any questions at 941-586-9313.
Class of 1957 – is planning to meet at the Olive Garden in West Des Moines for dinner on Saturday evening, August 12th.
Class of 1958 – Thursday, August 10, 4 PM – Happy Hour at Kay’s house, then at 5 PM All Class Reunion at ADM Commons. Friday, August 11, 5 PM dinner at the Trostel’s Greenbrier Restaurant in Johnston. Saturday, August 12, is the Sweetcorn Festival. We aren’t planning on being in the parade, we’re just going to be casual old observers! Contact Kay with any questions, at gkaystruble@gmail.com.
Class of 1968 – Any class members in town for Sweetcorn Days will meet up at Dennis Leininger’s shop on Green St. after the parade to eat lunch. Any further plans will be made from there. Contact Lana at jlschrock2@gmail.com for updates.
Class of 1973 -Their 50th is being held at 5:00pm, Saturday, August 12, at Hillcrest Country Club. They plan to go to the All Class Reunion on Thursday, be in the parade Saturday morning, and then the tailgate at Dennis’s! Contact Linda at LindaHouseman19@gmail.com with any questions.
Class of 1983 – Is planning to be in the parade on Saturday morning, August 12th, and then gather at Kip Hutzell’s home at 5:00pm, 108 N. 5th Street, Adel to party. If you have questions, contact Laurie at laurie.harford@gmail.com.
Class of 1988 – Will be having their 35th class reunion will be Friday, August 11th, at the Adel Family Fun Center. They also intend to have a float in the parade Saturday morning. Contact Marc at mhavnen@mchsi.com.
Class of 1993 – will be having a reunion picnic Saturday, August 12th in the afternoon at the Van Werden’s residence at 1025 S 14th, at approximately 12-2pm, but time is up in the air. We are doing party subs….everyone bring sides or dessert. There will be outdoor games for adults & water toys for kiddos. Contact Natasha at natasharaeannmgr@gmail.com with any questions.
Class of 1998 – Will meet at 8:30am by the Brickyard for the parade on Saturday. Bring a bag of candy to throw. Red & black tie-dyed t-shirts will be available for approximately $5 apiece, sizes Large through XXLarge. Their reunion will be held at the Island Campground shelter house from 4-8pm. Bring meats to grill, a side to share, and your drink of choice. There will be ladder golf, bags, and yard games. Kids welcome. Check the “ADM Class of 98” page on Facebook for any changes.
Class of 2003 – Will have a dinner and social at Hillcrest Country Club on Friday, August 11th, and are planning to be in the Sweetcorn Days parade on Saturday morning. Contact Jessie at perry.jessie84@gmail.com with any questions.
