The plan is to have those who graduated in an even numbered year play those who graduated in an odd numbered year.  ALL alumni are welcome to attend either as players or fans in the stands!

The purposes of the ADM Athletic Hall of Fame are to

• select, promote and honor former ADM athletes
• advance the interests and standards of athletics at ADM
• promote a mutually beneficial relationship between ADM schools, its alumni and the community

The task of selecting inductees to the hall of fame is difficult indeed, given the large number of talented athletes and coach’s who are nominated each year.

The selection committee, comprised of alumni, former school officials, former hall of fame members, a current male and female student and community members.

Started in 2003 based on a original idea first presented in 1986 the ADM Athletic Hall of Fame was supported by the ADM school board and the Bart Steele foundation and then brought under the wing of the ADM Alumni Association. The first class was inducted November 1st 2003.

The induction ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012 in the ADM High School auditorium in conjunction with the ADM Alumni All Class Reunion.

The inductees will be honored at a reception starting at 5 p.m. in the 6-8 commons area of the high school.

There will be a Veteran’s Day Program, Friday, November 11th at 8:30 a.m. at the ADM High School Auditorium honoring three newly recognized ADM Alumni who were killed in action in past conflicts.  Those alumni being honored are Clint Glenn, Class of 1940, WWII, Donald Stump, Class of 1947, Korea and Delbert Emehiser, Class of 1949, Korea.  Please join us to honor these fallen alumni who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

The ADM marching band is in dire straits…its uniforms are literally falling apart! 

Nearly fifteen years of sweat and toil have taken their toll on the once snazzy garments. As ADM alums, will you help get the band back in apparel worthy of Tiger Pride? 

Band uniforms are no cheap expense. A single uniform including all the necessary pieces averages $400 each. The cost of outfitting 110 band members will cost approximately $44,000! 

There’s no school budget for this enormous expense. The annual band and choir fees tacked on to school registrations for those who participate each year barely cover the cost of cleaning the uniforms and choir robes. What little is left is used to purchase music and cover fees to participate in music festivals and competitions.  

However, school administrators just confirmed they’ll contribute $10,000 toward the uniforms. The band members extend a hearty THANK YOU to superintendant Mr. Dufoe who worked to find ways the school could help with funding. 

The Fine Arts Boosters (FAB) has been anticipating this expense and squirreled away funds to assist in the cost of new uniforms. In fact, they’ll be donating $15,000 toward the goal. 

But that leaves $18,000 left to raise.
